Family friendly eco sound immersion

  • Yama Ki 1284 Don Road Don Valley, VIC, 3139 Australia (map)

A family friendly experience exclusive for guests staying at Yama Ki cottages in April

Ever wondered what the mountain ash trees sound like?

Want to deepen your connection with nature and find a family friendly activity over school holidays?

Join us for this exclusive collaboration with Catherine Marty and Yama Ki over the April school holiday period. Starting at your cottage, we begin with a gentle walk through the trees at Yama Ki to learn about forest bathing and plant communication, and be guided to meditate and listen to the trees sing with plant music. After you are invited to lie down under the trees and enjoy a session of sound healing with plant music, flutes, voice, singing bowls, chimes and drums to activate your parasympathetic nervous system leaving you all feeling calm and relaxed.

Your facilitator, Catherine Marty from Dare to Change Therapies, is a counsellor, trauma therapist, ecotherapist, sound healer, and a licenced tour operator with Parks Victoria. She is passionate about helping adults and children to connect with nature and sound through experiential learning and the promotion of its amazing health benefits.

Catherine holds a current Working With Children Check and has expert knowledge of the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

Costs: Fully facilitated 1 hour private experience for up to 4 people is $180.

Please note: as these sessions are outdoors they cannot run in the event of heavy rain or extreme heat. A postponement or cancellation of the session will be communicated to you with a full refund or to arrange another date.

Please contact Catherine on catherinelmarty@gmail.com or 0405 253 126 to schedule a time for this experience during your booked stay.
