Our 1 & 2 bedroom cottages are nestled privately and amongst the lush green tree ferns and mountain ash forest. Surrounded by the Yarra Valley hills, you will feel a world away from the hustle and bustle, and find serenity in the isolation of nature. We’ve combined the warmth and intimacy of a home with special farm touches to create a space which is both comforting and luxuriously set in the mountains.

The  cottages feature a wood fireplace and double spa bath, the perfect combination to help you relax and unwind. All cottages are furnished with crisp linen, comfortable beds and electric blankets for the winter; large bathrooms with double spa baths; fully equipped kitchens; wood fire with plenty of wood; TV, DVD player; BBQ and laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer in Stringy Bark cottage).  Our cottages also feature picturesque decking from which you can enjoy a barbeque, observe native wildlife and admire stunning views.

For your convenience, the cottages are stocked with basic kitchen condiments including organic teas, locally roasted coffee, salt, pepper, olive and cooking oil. Epsom salts, organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and essential oil burners are also provided.

Our aim is to create a nourishing space to relax and rejuvenate in the stillness of nature. We support local businesses, and use environmentally friendly and organic products.

  • Stringy Bark two bedroom cottage $280/night (for 2 adults, two night min stay, $20/extra person/night. Sleeps 4 + infant)

As we do not charge higher tariffs during public holidays or weekends, please book in early to avoid disappoint and secure your stay. We also have longer stay packages to help you immerse in the serenity, allow time for restoration, and to explore the incredible Yarra Valley & surrounds.

Nestled in the fern gully, Fern Lee Cottage is the perfect romantic escape for couples or individuals looking to getaway or celebrate a special anniversary or birthday.

The cottage features one large bedroom (1 x King bed with electric blanket), ensuite bathroom, large front deck overlooking the fern gully, double spa bath, fully equipped kitchen, an enclosed woodfire, electric BBQ, TV and DVD  player.

Portacot and highchairs are also available and free of charge. Sorry no dogs in Fern Lee.

With a large balcony overlooking the mountain ash and tree ferns,  sit and enjoy the view with a glass of Yarra Valley wine at Fern Lee cottage.

Set amongst the mountain ash gum trees,  Stringy Bark Cottage is the perfect retreat for couples, families or groups.

The cottage features two bedrooms (1 x Queen bed, 2 x single beds and an additional trundle for kids, all with electric blankets), one bathroom, front deck overlooking the fern gully, gas BBQ, double spa bath, fully equipped kitchen, laundry (washing machine and dryer), an enclosed woodfire, TV and DVD player. 

Stringy Bark is dog friendly accomodation upon request/approval. Portacot and highchairs are also available and free of charge.

With a large open living space and laundry facilities, Stringy Bark is perfect for longer stays and those who love to cook. There is also a cubby house at the front for kids to play in and plenty of DVDs to snuggle and watch a movie.
